“To celebrate the opening of The Situation Room, MoMI and Giphy Arts will present a discussion with artist Carlos Alfonzo Sanchez and curator Lindsay Howard, and moderated by MoMI Director of Curatorial Affairs Barbara Miller. Dani Newman, Director of Artist Partnerships at Giphy, will introduce the discussion. Sanchez’s lookit (2019), the first work in the installation series, will be on view in the visitor elevator. Followed by reception with light refreshments.”
