Revised Concept

I will revise my first Project Idea into y final project. While I wanted to do social commentary, and I still could, everyone agreed it should be more on physical change in the game. As the player talks to people, they would give descriptions and give insights to what the world looks like. The more people you talk to the more visible the world becomes. I would want it to be a visible change, like it happens after you speak, and you see it change. I can make models in Maya, and I can use Unity to make and test the beta, though I would need to know more programming and how to make dialogue and models for which order the player decides to talk to NPCs. Still a work in progress.

Steven Initial Concepts

My first idea was to make a game that focused on building the world it takes place in. My original idea was it making a social commentary on the world as the player explores the world I made, trying to help people overcome their problems. I would use Unity and Maya to create the world and models for my thesis.

My second idea would focus on maybe creating a graphic novel, where I would write a story using art and coding to create something interesting. I do not fully understand what I would need to do for making an online story. But it interests me, since I am interested in writing.

My final idea would be making trying to make a character list of enemies to make a compendium of characters, using the models to make a story.

Portfolio Map

I am new to all these portfolio creations. When it comes  to making video games, I never truly had much experience in coding. I made animations and models for my games I made in pastGame Jams. I made 2D pixel art for game Jams in the 2017-2018 year, as well as created 3D models for my class in Maya. These are what I will use for my portfolio map. The items for the class were fun to make. I made a Metal Sonic model in Maya. I like games with memorable characters as was metal Sonic here. I also know how to texture models and objects by uploading cut models to illustrator and color behind him.

Another project I made was a small gif of a creature I made. It was a small looping animation that shows I can make gifs for animations. And I know how to make animations.
